The path to Spirituality

Guru describes a spiritual teacher or master. A Guru has the power and wisdom to dissolve spiritual ignorance in a disciple. A true Guru has attained a extreme high degree of spiritual development before acting as a Guru. A traditional Guru has achieved God-realization before starting to teach. Exceptions are, when a Guru starts to teach while his Guru has still a physical body and spiritually supervises and guides him. In this case he often refers to his Guru when teaching to his disciples. A fully realized Guru having attained God-Union during the present incarnation has no need to refer to anyone else but God, as God is his true Guru and supervisor during his activities while teaching. He acts on behalf of God, never on behave of his personality.
A Guru teaches how to find the way home to God. Therefore he must have gone this path to truly know it before he can teach others how to achieve God-Union.

The mantra 'Om Mani Pädme Hum' is easy to say yet quite powerful,
because it contains the essence of the entire teaching. When you say
the first syllable Om it is blessed to help you achieve perfection in the
practice of generosity, Ma helps perfect the practice of pure ethics,
and Ni helps achieve perfection in the practice of tolerance and
patience. Päd, the fourth syllable, helps to achieve perfection of perseverance, Me helps achieve perfection in the practice of concentration, and the final sixth syllable Hum helps achieve perfection in the practice of wisdom.

Psychics, therapists, counselors, spiritual leaders and thousands of people in all walks of life are trying to coax us into believing that we have this inner voice and if we paid more attention to it we would be far better of in our lives.
I am none of the above but I can tell you from years of sometimes listening and sometimes not that when I do listen and heed my life has tended to work out for the better and when I have not, well you guessed it, things got out of whack.

Spirituality is the level to which one is able to see past their own self to the many wonders that exist within and around them in this plane of existence. In simple terms, it is your ability to tap into areas of life beyond what is normal (what is able to be easily seen, heard, felt, and smelt). True spirituality allows you to tap into areas of existence that are not readily accessible to the average human.

Inner peace is a gift you can give to others and to yourself.

Tips for Inner Peace

1. Value peace more than anything else. What we give our attention to will generate a certain force. If we feel inner peace is the most important thing then we will make it become a reality. If we want inner peace we will not allow anger and frustration to rob us of our equanimity.
2. Smiling. When we smile at our problems they lose a lot of their power. Smiling makes us feel happier. When we are unhappy inner peace will always remain a distant cry. Inner peace is synonymous with happiness
3. Don’t expect from others. If we are dependent on others behaving in a certain way we will never have inner peace. Our inner peace should come from within. Inner peace doesn’t have to wait for outer circumstances to become favorable.
4. Meditate. The source of our worries and anxieties comes from our mind. When we meditate we don’t allow ourselves to be bombarded by useless thoughts. In meditation we learn to silence the mind and enter into a consciousness of inner silence. It is in this inner mental silence that we can experience real inner peace.
5. Humor. If we take life and ourselves too seriously we will never be at peace. The world has teeming imperfections, but if we can learn to look at the humorous side of situations then we will not feel an overwhelming sense of gloom.
6. Give to others. If we live only to please our own self and ego we will never have inner peace. When we give importance to our ego we worry about what other people may think and say. When we serve others we not giving importance to our ego, we are becoming aware of our extended reality. When we expand our consciousness we are not affected by the concerns of the ego.
7. Don’t allow negative emotions to take hold. If others act or say things, which are unkind, we do not need to pay them any attention. When we learn to have a forgiving attitude we will have peace. If we are constantly judgmental of the actions and opinions of others we won’t be able to experience inner peace. Inner peace comes not through criticizing the world but focusing on the loving heart.

Chakra is a concept referring to wheel-like vortices which, according to traditional Indian medicine, are believed to exist in the surface of the etheric double of man.[1] The Chakras are said to be "force centers" or whorls of energy permeating, from a point on the physical body, the layers of the subtle bodies in an ever-increasing fan-shaped formation (the fans make the shape of a love heart). Rotating vortices of subtle matter, they are considered the focal points for the reception and transmission of energies.[2] Seven major chakras or energy centers (also understood as wheels of light) are generally believed to exist, located within the subtle body.
The seven main chakras are described as being aligned in an ascending column from the base of the spine to the top of the head. Each chakra is associated with a certain color, multiple specific functions, an aspect of consciousness, a classical element, and other distinguishing characteristics.
The chakras are thought to vitalise the physical body and to be associated with interactions of both a physical and mental nature. They are considered loci of life energy, or prana, which is thought to flow among them along pathways called nadis.

Why do we shout in Anger?

A saint asked his disciples, 'Why do we shout in anger? Why do people shout at each other when they are upset?'
Disciples thought for a while, one of them said, 'Because we lose our calm, we shout for that.'
'But, why to shout when the other person is just next to you?' asked the saint. 'Isn't it possible to speak to him or her with a soft voice? Why do you shout at a person when you're angry?'
Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the saint.
Finally he explained, 'When two people… Continue

8 Lies of my Mother

This story begins when I was a child: I was born poor. Often we hadn't enough to eat. Whenever we had some food, Mother often gave me her portion of rice. While she was transferring her rice into my bowl, she would say "Eat this rice, daughter! I'm not hungry."

This was Mother's First Lie.

As I grew, Mother gave up her spare time to fish in a river near our house; she hoped that from the fish she caught, she could give me a little bit more nutritious food for my growth. Once she had caught jus… Continue

Lord Buddha And The Brahman..!

Lord Buddha was sitting under a banyan tree.

Does God Exist????????????

This is one of the best explanations of why God allows pain and suffering that I have seen. It's an explanation other people will understand.

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, y… Continue

Pondering Thoughts

Does man live life or does life live man, are we all too busy playing the game to actually stop and enjoy life? Do we get up every morning and go to work until were to wore out to do so any more just to pay or bills and or taxes , is that living life or is that life living you? Do we truly have the ability to live the life we want or desire, or is life’s fate set at first conception? Do mankind /womankind think for themselves, do we formulate our on opinions’ or are they presented to us so that… Continue

WHY GO TO THE TEMPLE?

If you're spiritually alive, you're going to love this!
If you're spiritually dead, you won't want to read it.
If you're spiritually curious, there is still hope!
A 'devotee' wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to the Temple.
'I've gone for 30 years now, he wrote, and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 mantras. But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the Gurus are wasting the… Continue

Ten Commandments for Peace of Mind

1. Do Not Interfere In Others' Business Unless Asked
Most of us create our own problems by interfering too often in others' affairs. We do so because somehow we have convinced ourselves that our way is the best way, our logic is the perfect logic and those who do not conform to our thinking must be criticized and steered to the right direction, our direction. This thinking denies the existence of individuality and consequently the existence of God. God has created each one of us in a unique way.… Continue

Creation

"The Creator gathered all of Creation and said, "I want to hide something from the humans until they are ready for it. It is the realization that they create their own reality."
The eagle said, "Give it to me, I will take it to the moon."
The Creator said, "No. One day they will go there and find it."
The salmon said, "I will bury it on the bottom of the ocean."
"No. They will go there too."
The buffalo said, "I will bury it on the Great Plains."
The Creator said, "They will cut into the skin
