Namaste to all the SOULS here,
This question had been inside me since long and is embedded deep in me before even i got into the path of Spirituality.
1. Why do we need a GURU when we know or have read somewhere what our GURU says?
2. Do we not believe in ourselves that we require a GURU who would make us know what we are?
3. Do we choose our GURU or he chooses us or it is a divine intervention?
4. Are the people we treat as GURU really the one whom we should follow to attain salvation?
These are some of my points, the details would unfold as we go ahead with the discussion.
Would request from the core of my heart to please comment and discuss on the same as this would enlighten everyone across here who are looking towards spirituality and the divine knowledge.
I am also of the accord that I look to GOD - Divine - Creator and have noticed that almost anything or anyone can be used to teach & direct me to GOD ... if only I look.
Sometimes because of circumstances we MUST look inward for directions and seek ageless wisdom. However, I know that till we take our last breath there will be things to learn from life itself. Now with this amazing technology we are able to gather from around the world and speak of so many tools to help the woman or gentle man seeking enlightenment. Desiring to feel the universal hug! We are so blessed to have so much knowledge at our fingertips.
Our Gurus bring this wisdom and make it understandable. Our Gurus can be our children who through innocence & honesty also teach. Humanity is my Guru - but when I am lucky, the universe places one or two people in my immediate life that I can dialogue with as my own understanding expands (inward / outward).
Thank you again for the dedication, compassion that our GURUs bring to us and the world!

Yes, Chetana,
anger can be dangerous. i know that. The trick is how to learn to live with those emotions, or finding people who are willing to listen. that can make me feel a little better inside, perhaps.
